Our Story
Arielle Golden moved to Wilmington in early 2022 after vacationing here the previous summer feeling drawn to the warm weather and friendliness of the locals. Shortly after, she recognized the high level of need for medical massage services in the community.
Golden Medical Massage was founded in February of 2023 with the goal of providing an elite level of massage therapy services to the people of Wilmington.
By 2025, Arielle could no longer handle the large influx of clients requiring medical massage therapy on her own. Lukas was the perfect fit to join the team due to their shared passion and knowledge. Since May, he has been a crucial part of Golden Medical Massage's continued growth.
Golden Medical Massage’s overarching goal is to change public perception of massage. Massage should not just be considered a luxury experience. We want the world to view massage as a viable treatment method in the healthcare world.

Meet The Team
Arielle Golden
Arielle Golden is a Licensed Massage & Body Work Therapist (LMBT 19918) and a Medical Massage Practitioner (MMP).
She received her massage education at the Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks in Pennsylvania. Shortly after graduating, she began working in medical massage, learning from her mentor who has 10+ years in the industry. She completed the Medical Massage Practitioner program in Costa Rica about a year later.
Recently, she attended a dissection lab to take a deep dive into human anatomy to gain a detailed understanding of how all the independent structures of the body - fascia, muscles, tendons, bones, joints - work together to create a living, breathing, moving person.
Her passions include serving others, anatomy, philosophy, health and wellness, physical fitness (running, hiking, yoga, lifting, surfing!), reading, and nature. She uniquely combines these passions to create a holistic approach in treating her clients. She is always looking for ways to connect with others in her community that share these values, so please reach out if any of this resonates with you!
Lukas Montgomery
Lukas Montgomery is a Licensed Massage & Body Work Therapist (LMBT 18775).
Lukas Montgomery is an enthusiastic advocate for movement and physical expression, with a rich background in various sports, including basketball, muay thai, and arm wrestling. Growing up in New Jersey, he not only taught swim lessons but also gained valuable knowledge about body mechanics, which laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
After moving to North Carolina, Lukas began teaching pool aerobics, where he honed his ability to scale movements to accommodate clients at different ability levels. His personal journey took a challenging turn when he developed chronic neck pain from practicing muay thai. However, he worked diligently to overcome this obstacle through massage therapy and diverse movement practices.
His interest in movement inspired him to pursue a secondary certification in Personal Training in addition to his Massage Therapy license, to further his understanding of body mechanics. He integrates this knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology through these two modalities to provide unique solutions for clients in the massage studio.
Now, Lukas is dedicated to providing therapeutic relief and educating clients about their bodies, empowering them to understand their own movement and health.
